Dubbed " The Piece " Scuds Returns to the Pens, Signing a 4 Year $13.5 Million Contract.....Back Where He Belongs to the Team that Drafted him in the 5th Round, 134th Overall out of Boston College in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. After Boston College ( HE ) 1997-98 - 2000-01, Scuds began his Professional Career with the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Baby Pens ( AHL ) 2001-02 - 2005-06 and Becoming a Full Time Pens D-Man from 2006-07 - 2008-09. Within Weeks of Winning the 2008-09 Stanley Cup and the Pens could not Afford him under the Salary Cap, Scuds Hit the Free Agent Market as a UFA and was Offered a Free Agent Contract with the San Jose Sharks. He Turned Down the Sharks' Offer and Signed with the Los Angeles Kings to a 4 Year, 13.6 Million Contract on July 2, 2009. Scuds Won his 2nd Stanley Cup with the Kings in Four Years on June 11, 2012 vs the Pens' Longtime Hated Rivals, the New Jersey Devils. He took a Memorable Hit Early in the 1st Period that Resulted in a Five Minute Major Penalty and Three Goals for the Kings, Leading them to their 1st Ever Stanley Cup.
