I grew up in what would be "sheep country" in Ireland, and florescent spray paint Green, blue, orange, or red, using vertical, horizontal and or slanted lines , in or without a circle. That allowed farmers to find and count their sheep on a mountain from the roa, it also allowed him to move the sheep with a border collie using whistles, without climbing that mountain.

question 1, is wrong in my opinion. I grew up in an area of Ireland where sheep were about the easiest to raise, because of the poor quality of the soil. Evey sheep herder had his own brand which was a bright color and in various patterns. This allowed the owner to see and identify whose and what sheep were up on a mountain from the road. The colors green red and orange were most popular, and was a combination of the colour with horizontal, verticle liens (1 , 2 or 3 lines, and circles
