I wanted these great strong black and pure white matte nails. These monochrome nails are the ones I'm finishing 2009 with.
Starting with OPI - Alpine Snow (matte) as a great white base. I loved the look with all the snow outside, but it did look a little flat. I wanted something to add a little "wow", so I took these amazing Essence nail stickers.
I sticked these on the tips and I first loved the shiney black on the matte white, but I do know that on these stickers you need a topcoat to keep the stickers looking pretty. I used Essie's Matte Topcoat as a topcoat to keep everything matte.
