Angelina Jolie Wearing an Engagement Ring, Jeweler Says
By Mike Fleeman
Are Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt finally deciding to tie the knot? Robert Procop, who collaborated with the actress on "The Style of Jolie" jewelry line, says he has designed an engagement ring for Jolie working with Pitt. "Brad had a specific vision for this ring, which he realized over a yearlong collaboration with Robert," says the jeweler in a statement. "He wanted every aspect of it to be perfect, so Robert was able to locate a diamond of the finest quality and cut it to an exact custom size and shape to suite Angelina's hand. "Brad was always heavily involved, overseeing every aspect of the creative design evolution," the statement continues. "The side diamonds are specially cut to encircle her finger. Each diamond is of the highest gem quality." There was no immediate comment from reps for the couple. Jolie was spotted wearing the ring April 11 at a private viewing at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art's Chinese Galleries, according to The Hollywood Reporter, who first reported on the ring. Jolie attended the event with Pitt and their son Pax.

Rumors that Jolie, 36, and Pitt, 48, were planning to marry intensified earlier this year when Pitt told CBS News that they were "getting a lot of pressure from the kids."
"It means something to them," he continued. "We will [get married] someday, we will. It's a great idea. 'Get mommy a ring.' 'Okay, I will, I will.' " But Jolie later told PEOPLE at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, "I think anything said tends to be blown out of proportion."
