Anybody have a good Talapia recipe?

I need a good recipe for talapia, it is the BF's favorite. Our favorite upscale restaurant has a great dish with lowcountry baked talapia covered in a corn sauce with shrimp and lobster. It's served with white cheddar grits and a great iceberg/bleu cheese wedge.

I wanted to find a good recipe for something similar, not exact, because we like to cook together. Help a pop out? :D

that sounds good crawfish etouffe over tilapia. mmm i just love tilapia. good luck with it laclique...its hard to spread but dont get frustrated. if nothing else make sure the glops are towards the middle of the fish so its less likely to fall off. its sooooo good but it tastes awful reheated so eat as much as you can the first go round its sooo scrumptious.

When i am in Louisianna the inlaws always make Crawfish etoufee and pour it over sauteed tilapia... just creole season on both sides of the fish, sautee it in a pan with olive oil and pour the etoufee over it :) MMMMMMM good...

here's how i make my tilapia (or any other white fish): marinade tilapia filets in a lemon-pepper vinaigrette (home-made or store-boought works), add some pieces of onion, slices of lemon and spices as you like. put in the oven. for the sauce, saute onions and some shrimp or others eafood you have (can be frozen to make it easier), add some mustard, lemon, pepper, salt, and whatever spices you like (i like dill or parsley for color and flavor). finally add some sour cream to make the sauce all creamy and good. once the fish is done serve with the sauce on top. enjoy!

Wish I could help. I always love eating, but never ask for the recipes. I've had some really good tilapia too! (That doesn't help AT ALL! :( )

i do i do! 4 (4oz) or 2 (8 oz) filets of tilapia 4T of tomato paste 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil 1t garlic powder 1t oregano salt and pepper to taste 4T butter preheat to 350 degrees and take baking dish and coat with 1/4 cup of E.V olive oil. mix paste, remaining oil, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper in separate bowl and spread over tilapia. bake for 15 minutes. remove and put 1T of butter on each 4 oz filet or 2T on each 8 oz filet and broil until butter melts and turns brown (light brown). The mix will be sticky and hard to spread but just glop it on the best you can it turns out so good! sorry this recipe isnt like yours mentioned but it is so delish...this recipe is from memory for the most part. i love tilapia and most fresh fish. i got this recipe off the internet when i first looked for tilapia recipes a year ago but i dont remember where i had found it sooooo this is probably close to it.
