Apple walnut raisin breakfast quinoa
Hot, creamy quinoa with a hint of sweetness. A great alternative to oatmeal!
1 cup cooked quinoa
1 apple, chopped
1/2 cup almond milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tbsp agave (or other liquid sweetener)
2 tbsp raisins
Saute chopped apple over medium heat until the apple begins to soften. Add quinoa, almond milk, cinnamon, vanilla, and agave and stir until heated through. Stir in your walnuts and raisins or throw them on top! Add a splash more of almond milk if you please (I did!).
