Ashley303 baby shower

The lovely and talented ashley303 and her husband are expecting a beautiful bundle of joy. Ashley has been a loving, thoughtful, inspirational part of the SS community. I'm blessed to count her amongst my SS friends. And if I know my SS brothers and sisters you will want to shower this vessel of life with a party worthy of her, her marriage, and this moment.

The theme of the party will be La Vie En Rose. This phrase was made famous from Edith Pilaf's 1946 song. The title of the song literally translates to life in pink hues. The spirit of the song is that of love and having a rosy outlook. I thought this would be a great way to celebrate the coming of a new life. I also thought it would appeal to ashley303's aesthetic. I know she loves all things old school french, and roses.

The party will be held at the gardens of the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles in the afternoon. I thought ashley might like this place. It would allow her and her guests to explore some of the exhibits, which currently feature contemporary chinese photography, before and after the party. Anyone who knows ashley303 knows she loves art, especially photography. The gardens also feature bougainvillea trees, anoher ashley303 fave.
Waiters will be carrying platters of hors d'oeurves and drinks.
