BPJ: Black Lowlights

Hey,

I am following Glam Sugar's lead and posting some pics of my newly dyed hair. I usually get a dark brown full color and then some caramel colored highlights. Well, this time I decided to try alternating my highlights with some black lowlights. I took a ton of pics in order for you all to see... sorry if you cannot see the black very well. It is hard taking pics of your hair LOL! I decided to show you because when I say I put black in my hair people tend to think it is drastic. Enjoy!

I love the way it looks. What a way to put black in your hair. It doesn't look harsh at all. It totally blends in well and just adds depth. Love it!!!!

DesignR - that is what my hairdresser said too! Won't be as noticeable. I don't like getting it done as often as I am supposed to. I don't want to fry my hair! So, the longer I can go, the better! Thanks ALSW, BeachBarbie & Books and Shoes!

And the plus side of getting low-lights is that it's not as noticeable when it grows out as blonde hair. Now I'm tempted to get my hair done. ;)

I had the hubby take a ton of pics from different angles. It was incredibly hard to see the black in there. I love my VERY straight hair. But there are definitely days I wish it would do something else, LOL!!! Nope, it likes to just lay there on my head very incredibly straight.

Fabulous! It's not much different than mine, only your lowlights are darker. I just posted another pic that shows more lowlights. You did a better job than I did of taking pics of your hair!
