now the old woman in me says only: i understand all of you :) and yes - it is not the Catalan Way - they have other dances - which involve many people in it - :) hv seen it - Gatara in the 80ies (Barcelona itself) ;) however - Flamenco can vary - fm passion to aggression and fm tenderness to brutality - it is a powerful dance - which reflects a lot of faces and it depends on the interpretors - the protagonists - the performers - i hv to admit - that it shows on my opinion - the flow of life - the blood boiling - yet that is a certain expression - not all love that passion of expression - i also love Ballet - and there i am VERY conservative - Classical Ballet - hv seen a modern interpretation and it was too futuristic for my "gusto" ;) you see - many of us reflect many spectres of a diamond - yet when all these spectres get together - we can create a rainbow - of connection :) and we cross THE BRIDGE of HEAVEN - to be closer to each other - hopefully in understanding :)
- i hv also seen Indian dances - - you just dance - do not say a word, have to express all your feelings by dancing - you have little bells to help you with it - are barefoot - it was breathtaking - yet the music - you will never understand if you do not see it - my best friend - half Indian half Swiss - brought this closer to me... we all love styles - and we can only SHARE -

OMG! I'm so sorry D-Lee!!!! My sister was in Barcelona last days, she lives in other city and I can't see her often, so I spend a lot of time with her. Yesterday she came back to home! I'm not upset! I feel so bad because perhaps my words were too "serious". Please Lee, don't stop the game, please!!! I love it, really!!! I don't like flamenco, that's all! is not my culture, I'm catalan! It's a bit difficult to explain, perhaps Iveenia understands me and can explain better....
