being curled up on my lap
purring can put me into a 
long nap myself.  Other times
i wonder what made her think
of climbing up to the top shelf
in the sunroom and then to try
to jump into a plant?  She never did it before?

My pets are the only ones who will love me no matter what I have done, what I look like, or what I have said. They are always happy to be with me, never get tired of me, always are excited when I come home, are my eating and sleeping partners, will never cheat on me, and will always want to snuggle and love me. They never complain about the big stuff, unless if I refuse to give them any more treats, and they don't care who I talk to or what I watch on TV or spend hours on the computer because they are always curled up at me feet or are on my lap.
