The Best Ham Sandwich. Ever.
So, I was farting around the pre-made sandwiches at the deli a few days ago when one particular sandwich jumped out at me. It was a ham sandwich with...cherry mustard. No, I was not and am not high. This particular culinary WTF?!? moment was so intense that the sandwich found it's way immediately to my hand basket. I had no idea that this would turn out to be the best ham sandwich. Ever. And so simple. Here is what you will need:
Cherry Mustard
1 part cherry preserves (I've since made it with raspberry preserves, and it was just as good if not better.)
1 part yellow mustard. Yep. The French's stuff. Seriously.
For the rest of the sandwich:
*Your favorite bread (The deli version was made with a croissant.)
*Brie, softened
*Smoked ham, thinly sliced
*Baby spinach
*Cherry mustard
*Plenty of napkins for all the drooling that will inevitably occur
