Betty Rubble Costume
Last year I was Betty Rubble for Halloween. It was such an easy and cheap costume to make. I started by taking a blue strapless dress from the Gap that I bought on Ebay. I cut the hem into zig-zags and used the scraps to make a bow for my black wig. For the halter part of the dress, I used a leftover piece of black fabric and held it all together with a seashell (I hot glued a "pin back" to the shell). To sass it up a bit, I wore a pair of patent leather mary janes. It was a hit!
