Bonus eye, current profile makeup eye look.
I decided to change my profile picture after all the stuff going on about it, so here is the new profile picture and the makeup that goes along with it.
I think most of you can see or have already guessed, the eye was photoshopped... I changed my eye colour and I drew in false lashes.
Here is how I did the makeup
Products in this picture
- Benefit, Firmology
- Dermalogica, Skin Hydrating Masque
- Bliss, Thinny Thin Chin
I cleansed my face with my mum's Clinique Comforting Cream Cleanser because my skin was feeling tight. It's starting to cool down here and the heating was on yesterday for the first time since this summer, so my skin reacts immediately. This cleanser is sooo soft and light that I immediately felt my hand going towards it. I then used Firmology to give my skin a natural glow and some extra strength. I used very little of the Skin Hydrating Mask on my eyes and let that absorb. I didn't use an eye cream over this, I just let this do it's job today. I used Thinny Thin Chin on my neck.

To start my face I have to create a base using Photo Finish (clear) Foundation Primer, my skin feels sooo soft the entire day when I have this under my foundation. I used the Travel Foundation Brush to apply High Definition Healthy FX Foundation all over my face (except on my eyes). I always start at the centre of the face blending out to make sure you don't have that "mask" effect. I used the Concealer Brush to pick up a little Camera Ready Full Coverage Concealer and brushed it under my eyes. I didn't need a lot today and this is a perfect way to get a little concealer to go a long way.
My eyes will be popping today, so I wanted my face to be matte, therefor I added Super Matte Loose Powder with the Mineral Brush all over my face and neck (not on my eyes).
Because I use the HighBrow sooo much, I needed to sharpen it, now I know you can get any sharpener to sharpen a pencil, also for the slightly thicker pencils. I've been on holiday when I did it with a sharp knife, but I recently got the Grind House because I needed to add 2 dollars to my cart to get a bonus so I got it and I'm using it today :D .
Anyway, I used HighBrow under my eyebrows blending it with my fingers. Next I took the Eyeshadow Primer Potion on my eyelid, up to a little over the crease. I tend to use it only there because blending is a little more difficult when you have primer under it. Also the HighBrow blends less when you have primer, so I use it only where I'll use the popping colours.
I thought Naked would be too dark for my skin, but if you only use a wash of colour, it's actually perfect, I used this from the crease up. I tend to build my colour going from light to dark most of the time.
I used my favourite brush ever Definer Brush no. 15 to apply the colours from the Deluxe Shadow Box. Now I have to show you these colours....
The Fishnet, Honey and Graffiti I also have loose. So stupid why really, I saw this palette and thought I would never use all of these colours ever and didn't buy it. Then I got home and though DAMNIT I should have gotten it anyway. So I got Fishnet and Graffiti. Then I wanted a new gold/yellow colour and I couldn't find one I loved.... so I bought Honey. Then when I was looking for natural colours I automatically wanted the bottom three and thought owww well, I'll import the whole thing then.
This is I think the first look when I didn't think before adding colours, I just did something and really liked what I did with it. I started with Ransom all over my eyelid up and over the crease. I then took some Peace on my inner corner and added Fishnet on the outer corner. I then took Graffiti on the lower lash line. I used the no. 15 Smashbox Definer brush for everything I did.
Closed my eye looked like this:
I used the Arced Liner Brush to place JetSet in Midnight Black on the top waterline. This itches soooo much!!! Seriously. Also here is a tip for all you people wearing contacts... don't get this on your contact when you draw on the line, wait for it to dry before you put in your contacts (I had a big black spot on my contact and it took me ages of gentle rubbing to get it off, dumb me
I used the eyelash curler to curl my lashes and a little Diorshow in Black as mascara.
I hope you like my new Profile Picture and makeup!!!
