Cabbage & Cilantro Slaw (for fish tacos)


Shredded Cabbage (about 10 oz.)
1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro
3 T. lime juice
2 T. vegetable oil
hot chile flakes


In a large bowl, mix 1 1/2 quarts finely shredded cabbage (about 10 oz.), 1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro, 3 tablespoons lime juice, 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, 1/4 teaspoon hot chile flakes, and salt to taste. Yield 4 1/2 cups

YUM! This reminds me of my mother's slaw recipe, which is vinegar based as opposed to creamy. :feedme:
