Oscar, a two year old cat adopted by a Nursing and Rehabilitation Center can sense when patients are close to their death and in their final hours, he curls up next to them. Animals have always been hypersensitive to things. I know there is going to be a storm is all the dogs in the neighborhood are going nuts. They also know when there is going to be an earthquake. This is why I will always have a pet.

How interesting, but the study of one cat does not tell what really is going on. Domestic cats being close to people, learn their owner's habits.

How interesting. I knew cats were smart, but I guess that is an understatement. Although for me personally that would cause another paranoia of mine if I knew someone at the nursing home. I'd be paranoid that the cat would be laying next to them.
