I'll admit, I was one of the masses who charged Target's website the day Missoni was released, or crashed it is more accurate! I was excited by the chevron glasses, but ended up disappointed by how small they were once they arrived on my doorstep. So I did what any good DIY blogger does....made my own!
A set of inexpensive drinking glasses, painters tape (or contact paper) and Frosted Glass spray is all you need.
After painstakingly taping off the glasses with my zig-zag pattern (contact paper would be much easier to cut than painter's tape!), I gave them 3 light coats of Frosted Glass spray.
Make sure you tape off the actual drinking area too, since paint isn't food-safe. I think mine could give Missoni a run for their money...what do you think?

Thanks Lauren! Cutting the painters tape was the most time-consuming part. If you used contact paper, or some other material you could cut before peeling off the sticky side, it'd be MUCH faster. For a single vase, probably 30mins to an hour to cut, then about 5 mins to spray (I didn't wait long between coats), and a day to cure. Also, if your vase is tapered, you'll have to adjust your chevron as you make your way around so the two ends will meet.
Hope this helps!
