Do you use every product in your make up case?

I got to admit, some items in my case are virtually untouched, such as bronzers, and random eye shadows. I end up using the same colors most of the time. Only when I have the luxury of time to do my make up do I dig around, explore, even rediscover the whole range of stuff I have in my case.

Do you have the same issue?

Too many products, too little time!!

Side note - I have at least 15 - 20 new products added to this case since this picture was taken, so it is literally overflowing now.

MissyCat - that's a great idea! I have been trying to figure out how to organize my makeup. It's everywhere. I think I'll try your way. Can anyone tell me a good place to get makeup bags? I have the one from BE, but it's just not big enough. I'm wondering if I'm already at train case level. Also, I need a separate roll up type bag for my brushes. Any advice?

I have three bags that I rotate through depending on the foundation look I want that day: one for a light look, one for a matte look and the third for a dewy look. All of the bags have a blush, powder, an eyeliner and mascara in them. And I rotate through these three fairly regularly. And then there's the color bag. With many varieties of liners, blushes, glosses, lipsticks, shadows, etc. And sometimes I'll find a "surprise" color or item, as in "I didn't realize that THIS was in here!"

I actually have 2 makeup bags, one with stuff i use often and one w/ whatever i don't really use. Every season I go through my stuff and see what I need to buy and switch some things around, works good so far. I don't like having a bunch of things crammed in my bag or case especially if i'm not using half of it.

Even though I've just started using makeup just before joining Sugar, I still have way too many products that I'm not using. My tastes change all the time... so things go unused. I made a promise to myself that I will use each product at least 6 times, unless it turns out to be terrible. I definitely need a case like you have (or bigger) because my vanity has makeup spread all across it, plus I have a makeup bag that's fairly large in size. I have one problem in particular. I have three eyelash curlers. One has been used once. Ugh.

We moved into a new house in December, so a lot was finally tossed when I was packing. I use about the same stuff everyday. There's no time in the weekday mornings to get experimental. I tend to dig a little deeper in the bag on weekends for the random eyeshadows.

I'm sorta a mix between both. I mean, I have a bunch of things I use all the time but sometimes I just grab something random and put it on for a party or something. xooo

I generally use most of the same stuff daily and every now and then I get crazy and use something else LOL! I should really do another clean out and toss the stuff I don't use but I just can't let go :(

I use most of my stuff. There's a few products I hardly use, but still like them enough to keep. Um, like I have this little eyeshadow palette which isn't great quality but once in a while I'll need one of the colors from it. I routinely clean out my stuff and keep it very organized (unlike everything else in my life) so I don't really forget about anything. I used to keep all my makeup in just a big bag and stuff would always be falling to the bottom and I'd just forget about a whole bunch of products. Oh, the only problem I do have is that I'll always throw lipgloss into a purse, then switch purses, and forget about the lip gloss.

No, not by a long shot. It just keeps accumulating. Now, I'm trying to be smart about things and only buy stuff that I'm pretty sure I'll use..and won't end up in one of my many makeup cases. I think I need to do a giant clean out...because, I would probably wear a lot of the makeup I have...IF, I didn't have to go to four to five different places where I store bundles of makeup. (I tend to forget about it..is what I'm trying to say.)

You've seen part of my stash. I could never use every product! I do tend to have a routine, especially with face makeup (I only have a few blushes and concealers and powders, because I use them daily) and mascara/brow stuff, but I quite frequently switch up my eye and lip colors just for the heck of it. Like, I wore a yellow tee yesterday, so I did gold shadow (UD Deluxe in Honey) with black liner so that I would match my outfit. Just little things, really. I do like to take some time out and do crazy makeup looks for fun, though.

I tend to use the same things as well but try to keep only what I need daily in he makeup pouch. The rest goes in tupperwear storage and rotated.

I try to only purchase what I really need but all those bottles are so pretty! Sometimes the stuff inside is good for me and sometimes it's not.

I try to rotate through and play with new colours... but I've I'm short on time there is definitely the classic staples that I go to.

I tend to use the same things, too. Although sometimes when I'm feeling particularly adventurous I use a bold eye shadow that I haven't in ages, lol. Just to have some fun.

Unfortunately I have lots of really nice stuff, but don't usually have the time to really try them out, so I end up putting on the same old tried and true goodies.
