Does anyone happen to have this phone? (Motorola KRZR)

It's time for me to buy a new phone. The one I have now is about 2 years old, and the battery isn't keeping a very good charge anymore. Considering that last year, we completely took out our home phones and just use our cell phones, this isn't a good thing. So...I've been looking at the ones offered by my cell phone company, and I keep coming back to this one.

The phone I have now is a Nokia, and it's been a great phone. Jason has the other phone I'm looking at, but his drops calls all the time. I can be next to him and have full service.

I used to have a preference for Kyocera phones-- I loved my slider up until I upgraded to the new Razr V3M or whatever this summer. I don't have any problems hearing on my Razr. Haven't seen the Krzr in person so don't really have an opinion for you, sorry!

Nokia is my fave too. I hate flip phones, and Nokia makes the most non-flip phones, I think.

All in all, the Motorola RAZR V3m is much better than the new KRZR. The KRZR has an amazingly sleek design, it's elegant and ultra modern, but its capabilities are not as good as the RAZR's. Maybe with new firmware it would be all it was design to be. there is nothing worse than having a cellphone you can't hear out of. i have one now it drives me bonkers. i am eligible for an upgrade now but have been too lazy to sign a new contract. i am not a big cell phone talker though. just use it for emergencies or if i need to talk to hubby for whatever reason.

My friend just got this phone for Christmas and said that she loves it minus that it picks up alot of the surrounding noise, like it's hard to hear what the person on the other end is saying. Does that make sense?

Nokia is swedish, no wonder your a Nokia family :) I think they are overated hehehe, Ikea is also swedish.. I guess anything with a K in the middle is swedish hahahaha :PEPINO:

One more thing, the best reference site is www.Cnet.com. They review everything and have been around for years. you can trust these people. Go to the reviews section and they will tell it like it is and score each item for you.

Wynter, I just saw this phone yesterday when i was shopping for my BF's present. he wants a new cell phone and I loved the Sony Ericckson W810i. It has a good mp3 player, bluetooth, camera etc etc He liked the rzer but I'm not sure i dig it more than this one.

I have friends with the Rzr, I think its' pretty similar to this and they hate it. Can't hear on it for sh*t. Awkward to use. Try to google reviews for it from ID sources. Cnet or Znet? Can't remember. I had a motorola phone that I loved, poor outdated startac, buy my sis has a new motorola that she hates. So, you never know! I try to stick with my Kyoceras, loved all 5 I've had.

I don't know... Cellular South only has it in black, but they're not a large cell phone company that carries a ton of phone options either. _____________ GEAUX SAINTS!
