Anyone ever watched this Italian epic mini-series before.... ? Fantaghiro (a.k.a The Cave of the Golden Rose)
Ohhh, I really hope that hollywood will take on the remake for this classic. A great fantasy though!
'Fantaghirò (alternately titled The Cave of the Golden Rose) is an Italian fantasy film series based on Italo Calvino's Fanta-Ghiro the Beautiful. The series consists of five television movies which were released between 1991 and 1996. It was produced by Reteitalia Productions and directed by Lamberto Bava, and filmed in the Czech and Slovak Republics; the musical score was written by Amedeo Minghi. The series takes place in a fairy tale and fantasy setting, featuring princesses, princes, witches, wizards and talking animals....'
