FLAVOR OF THE MONTH (JULY 2011): TEXAS BARBECUE
Well, we cannot celebrate 4th of July without a good ol' American Barbecue. So I pick Texas Barbecue (of course
as this month's Flavor of the Month!
I cannot get enough of the tender beef brisket, pulled pork and plump sausages oozing with that very distinct tangy, sweet and spicy Texas Barbecue sauce. Add a side of potato salad (my favorite), baked beans, coleslaw and jalapeno bread -- and don't forget the ice cold Shiner Bock -- and I am in heaven!
Okay, I have to stop imagining now and go create my Texas Barbeque look. I hope y'all do the same!
