Fade Dark Spots in Two Weeks with Ambi Fade Cream

Fade Dark Spots in Two Weeks with Ambi Fade Cream

Let’s face it, many of us suffer with acne well into our 20s, 30s and even beyond our 40s. It’s one thing to get one or two pimples here and there every now and then, but what do you do when acne leaves those unsightly dark marks after the breakout is gone? I have to say; I have definitely experienced what dermatologists refer to as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and have searched for a couple of years for a remedy that could tackle the problem in little to no time. For years, I had heard about a line of products by a company called Ambi but was reluctant to purchase anything because the company had a bad reputation within the African American community. Their old rep was largely attributed to their products being known for “skin bleaching” as opposed to what they are known for today – promoting healthy even skin tone by safely correcting and fading discolorations. I used the product once on a large dark post-acne mark for two weeks, and presto! The mark was completely erased. This is a great product especially for women of color who tend to be more prone to hyperpigmentation. Ambi Fade Cream contains three main ingredients proven to safely fade discoloration: Hydroquinone (tested and proven to fade dark spots), Vitamin E (vital in protecting the skin against sun damage) and Alpha Hydroxy Acid (reduces the signs of aging).

Please be advised that you should follow the directions as printed to discontinue use after your problem has been corrected as you don’t want to end up lighter in just one spot on your face. This is definitely a product to consider if you’re interested in improving your skin tone.

The Dr Max Powers Scar Cream fades dark spots for even, natural skin tone. I started using his Scar Cream several months ago. I had had a brown spot removed from my neck by a dermatologist and it didn't ever fade after it healed. Giving the area plenty of time to fade on it's own, I started using the Dr Max Powers Scar treatment every day and noticed a difference in about 3 weeks. It takes only a very small amount so I still have the original tube and it's still half full. I use it every morning under my moisterizer and every night right before applying my night moisterizer. Now no one can see the spot but me.

I'm going to try it. I'm not African-American, but I have a medium to dark skin tone, depending on the season. Nothing else has worked so far so I'll give this a chance...More info TBA!

Thanks. No, it's not prescription, just from CVS. My derm prescribed a 4% strength one but the insurance did not cover it, and it was $58. I was picking up other prescriptions at the time and decided not to get it, as I was a bit annoyed. Plus I had the Esoterica and wanted to give it more time. we'll see.

romaniangrl, I'll have to check the percentage for you when I get home. I've never heard of Esoterica before is that through prescription only?

I use a cream called Esoterica on a couple of spots of Hyerpigmentation left by pregnancy. I have used it for a while and I don't see any difference. :( The Hydroquinone is really the only ingredient that lightens and the Esoterica has a 2% concentration. What % does this cream have in it? I might use it if it's a higher % than mine.

I have been using this cream and the soap for the last month and my dark spots are slowly fading. Happiness is not, except in very rare cases, that drops into the mouth like a ripe fruit.Happiness must be,for most men and women,an achievement rather than a gift of the gods, and in this achievement, effort, both inward and outward, must play a great part.
