Fig & Pistachio Cookies

It's snowing! So what better way to spend a sunday afternoon than baking some treats to curl up on the sofa with.
 
I wanted to try and create 3 completely different flavours using one basic cookie dough recipe that was easy to make and didn't involve loads of complicated ingredients.
 
Version three was a combination of dried figs and pistachios...
