Flu and Congestion Buster Tea


This tea is great for congestion and flu symptoms! The tea settles your stomach, the onion breaks up congestion, the honey shrinks swollen nasal passages, and the lemon and honey soothe sore throats and help fight against infection - like natures antibiotic.

Flu and Congestion Buster Tea

Ingredients

1 Mug of Water (whatever size you want)
1 Slice of Fresh Onion, Chopped
1 Tea Bag
1 tsp Lemon
1 Tbsp Honey

Directions

Put chopped onion in the mug of water and heat in microwave until hot enough to make tea (you can also put onion in water in a pan on the stove to heat)

In hot water, put the tea bag, lemon and honey, and gently stir. Let sit for about five minutes or until tea is made in the mug.

Remove tea bag, stir to mix up good, and drink. As you drink, if you eat the onions, it will help more to loosen congestion.

If you don't like onions at all, you can make this without them, but it works better with the onions.
