From A Poster To A Statement Piece
I wanted to hang some really special art on the wall in our family room, but I did't want to spend a fortune. The hubs fell in love with a $10 horse print which has special meaning to us as it's the "mascot" of the city we call home - Lexington, KY. I bought it knowing it would work in the room but wanting to make it more of a statement piece. So with the help of an open back frame (scored at the Hobby Lobby for half-price), a scrap piece of fabric (left over from recovering some chairs), and a canvas I had in my craft closet I turned that poster into a more of a statement piece. And the best part is I didn't break the bank to do it plus if we ever get tired of this print I can easily change the "framed art"!
