I don't think anyone is judging you on what your parents have. People are judging you because you are BRAGGING INCESSANTLY about what your parents have.

I attended a Tiger Beat gala just last week.

oh, and its actually "juicybabe" jinx

I really would like to forget about this whole thing. It's really not a big deal and was just a simple mistake. I had never heard the word "fug" used like that before, but where I'm from it was used when we were in like 6th grade to make fun of girls who had fake Uggs. The only reason I would consider using it here not polite, is because a lot of people see these things (and Jess- I totally understand what you were saying about at a press conference or social event, but a lot of people don't understand that I was raised to act like I was attending a gala all the time). I was also really shocked when I got emails about comments saying I was a 14-year old preteen who only bragged about what her parents had. This is abosloutely not true, and I don't think anyone has any right to judge me based on what my parents may have or call me a 14-year old brat, because I'm absoloutely not.

I can see these looking cute with jeans. They fit in with current trends. I'm not sure if I'd wear them, but they're still pretty fashionable.

I usually ignore the little antagonizing preteens, but to come on my friend's post, accuse them of being classless and rude, meanwhile being 100% WRONG in the first place is too much. Admit that you made a mistake, learn your lesson, and quit trying to point fingers. And how hysterical that using the word "fug" on a gossip site is considered classless by someone who refers to herself as "juicybabe." :rotfl: A long-time favorite site of mine is most certainly not about Uggs. And this seems beside the point now, but I'll be the only one to say that I like the boots!

A 14 year old who clearly needs to go back to etiquette school and learn that it's far LESS classy to constantly point out how wealthy your parents (read: not you, child) are.

Oh, how I do love a good lesson in class and propriety from a braggadocios (read: neither classy nor proper) 14-year old! It goes down so smooth with my afternoon tea and crumpets.

Fug has always stood for "fucking ugly" not fake Uggs. Fugg (fake Ugg) must be a made up word in your little world "juiceybabe". ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- OBAMA: You Betcha, My Friends!

No class? Where the hell am I supposed to be talking to the Queen of England? I am on a social network site and can use the word Fug without anyone worrying about etiquette. Please. My suggestion would be that if you are that offended at such nonsense things on a website to leave and join Thanks.

The bad etiquette must come from my poor background, oh shucks. Hun seriously lighten up. You are the one who turned this into an argument. I very politely told you how the word fug was being used and you turned it into something else. You are the one who made a mistake and it would have been fine if you just left it at that. Using the word fug is not bad etiquette in this place. If we were at some conference, party, or other social event then yeah I would agree with you. But here it is not an issue. And using the word fug is not trashy, tacky or rude. What is trashy, tacky and rude is acting like you are better than everyone else. Done and end of discussion

OK- just to clear things up here bad etiquette would be using words like that in public- also referred to as TRASHY. everyone can say what they want about these comments, but i think it's pretty clear it was a simple mistake-- not everyone likes to be seen as tacky and rude by using that kind of language. i'm also not asking you to take the post down- just maybe get a little class.

I don't care for the boots personally; however, I would consider them fashionable for this season. FWIW, I personally think UGG haters added the extra "g" to Fug for emphasis.

I'm not crazy about them but they may be useful while mountain climbing!...well to help keep you warm or whatever but I wouldn't wear them otherwise.

Wow ....... Comment #32 was pretty fug and I'm not talking about the fake uggs either (just wanted to clear that one up so there's no misunderstanding)....:oy:

This post has nothing to do with fake UGGS. We all know audreystar is asking us if we think the boots are f-ing ugly.
