(This would be great with what SPM posted earlier!)

garlic cloves
butter
bread
parm. cheese

Squeeze garlic through garlic press. Mix with a few tablespoons of butter. Spread over Italian style bread. Sprinkle grated cheese on top. Bake in oven.

karmasabitch karmasabitch 7 years 48 weeks
I'm kidding, as far as I know it's mostly basil and pine nuts.. olive oil and a little parm? I'd have to look it up to get a more precise recipe hahaha

Hmmmm, no because the dude that said it was in South America at the time, lolol. Then he traveled back to Africa so I'm confused :? :MOB:
LaylaCams LaylaCams 7 years 48 weeks
Maybe you mean South Africa?
karmasabitch karmasabitch 7 years 48 weeks
Really Twinkle? If they said it was in South America on that show and lied I will be p*sssssssssed hahaha... wtf! Now I want to look into it too.

Twink, I think you could be right. For some reason I was thinking Brazil but then at the same time I knew Victoria was in the name. I have to get to the bottom of this before I make my travel arrangements. Ahem, so I have like 40 years...

I *love* garlic bread so much.

I thought Zimbabwe's Victoria Falls was the largest waterfall in the world. :?
crispet1 crispet1 7 years 48 weeks
Woah so cool!
karmasabitch karmasabitch 7 years 48 weeks
Yeah it was really interesting, they went to South America and carried a piece of the stone from the waterfall back to Africa.. matched up the stones from both countries and they were identical. They were from a volcanic eruption on Pangea.. before the continents split :O
karmasabitch karmasabitch 7 years 48 weeks
Ohhh Crispet it IS in South America! I saw it on Amazing Earth last night (love that show, btw) hahaha. Ahh I have pretty much everywhere on my 'list' of places I want to go to.. dangit.

Crispet1, maybe someday your parents can go back again and take you and your siblings. It would be interesting for you to see your family history. I know I'd love to visit Cuba.

crispet1 crispet1 7 years 48 weeks
Oh sounds great. On my list of travels are Italy, Greece, and Brazil (or wherever the largest waterfall in the world is, South American I think...)
karmasabitch karmasabitch 7 years 48 weeks
Cirpet I wish I could do that as well! I got to do the Polish thing, but Italy's still on my list.. we have relatives living in both countries.. I've met my Polish ones so now I'm hoping for introduction to Italy 101.
crispet1 crispet1 7 years 48 weeks
Hehe. I wish I coulda gone to Italy when my parents did 10 years ago. But they left all us kids behind. They got first hand knowledge of everything. My grandparents chauffeured them around the town where they grew up, introduced them to relatives, even showed them where the got married!
