Help This Reader Find a Cheaper Alternative to MAC's Fluidline

We saw the following question asked in the Beauty Dupes group in the Bella Community, and we'd love to hear what you might have to suggest. Reader Senorita writes:

I love MAC Fluidline ($15), but since I go through it pretty quickly, I was wondering if there was something similar with a smaller price tag. Any ideas?

I second that! I am also a fan of Wet'N'Wild's Cream eyeliner. For $3.99 you can't beat that!!! Also, Loreal HIP cream eyeliner is good to, but DO NOT leave the lid off of either one of these for any length of time because they dry out fast.

Clinique's is awesome, costs about the same but my pot seems to last forever even with daily use.

elf has tons of colors and each is only $3. I haven't used it but have heard good things about the line. I've tried the Wet n Wild but it dried up on me...I think that was due to my leaving it not screwed on tightly though. It was quite nice, and cheap, so that's worth a try. All these drugstore brands I think are quite comparable to Fluidline.

I absolutely loved the Wet N Wild cream liner.. until it burned my eyelids.. so be careful if you tend to have sensitive skin.. but it is seriously really good. I also really like the L'Oreal HIP cream liner, but it's not waterproof, so water lining eyes is tricky and doesn't really last like a waterproof might.. I would definitely look for the E.L.F. With the pricing of their line.. you can't go wrong..

I use Maybelline gel liner as well. Its definitely the best drugstore brand by far! The brush is soft and the liner goes on smooth and stays on. I've converted quite a few clients too! I tried L'Oreal HIP last year and between the rough brush and the color that melts away half way through the night, it just wasn't worth it in my opinion.

L'Oreal HIP has great colors, and you can often get it on sale.

L'Oreal HiP, no doubt.

I second the L'Oreal HIP line... they have something very similar to this!

I second the ELF recommendation. I have MAC blacktrack and the ELF liner in brown (coffee). In terms of lasting power and application - I find them identical. And its super cheap as well!

L'oreal has a HiP line (I think that's right) and they have a cream eyeliner/shadow that comes in a pot - lots of colors, very pigmented - $9-10.

The drugstore brand Wet n Wild has a cream liner that's really, really good! It only comes in two colors though, black and eggplant. But it's less than $5, so can't complain much! =]

I use both Mac fluidline and clinique's cream liner since I like clinique's brown better than mac's which dries too flat. It's still $14.50 but you get .17 in a jar.

At Target, the Sonia Kashuk brand has a gel eyeliner for sale for about $9. It comes in four different colors: ebony, cocoa, indigo, and charcoal. I haven't tried it, since I don't normally wear eyeliner. Also, this has .18 oz compared to MAC's .10 oz. Good luck with finding a good replacement!

i buy Maybelline NY Eyestudio Gel Liner! it works and looks just like the MAC brand! and at Walmart its half the price its $6.98! One time i left it in my car during the day and it melted but that just made it work 10X better than it did before just a little trick i accidentally picked up! and they have a bunch of differ colors

i've never tried fluidline (can't afford it!) but i found this alternative recently and though i can't compare the quality, it's been my favourite new purchase and has replaced all my other eyeliners. and it's not expensive at all! here it is on the US site.
