We let her out in back but she luuuuuuuurves to save up her doodie and as soon as I let her out of my car to run in the park she goes two or three times in diff spots :raspberry:
I..hate..picking..up..turds
Hahahaha, all my parents' dogs ever did with a litter box was dig for buried treasure. We always joked they were going to make it to China with that kind of enthusiasm.
I kitty liter boxed Halo when he was a puppy...because, he couldn't go out either when he was a puppy (due to the same reasons Coco mentioned). So, now he still uses the liter box and we also take him outside. He's so tiny...the liter box is really easy to keep clean.
I don't have a yard, but I'm really lucky that my apartment complex has a decent sized area for them to do their thing. It's got fine gravel, almost like kitty litter in it, and it's fenced in. We call it the shit pit.
At our old house we just let them out in the yard, but we've been walking them since we've moved into our new house. We're actually having a fence installed this weekend.
I put my 3 in the backyard. My Laszlo does a funny thing, you know how some dogs scratch the grass with their back legs after they poop? Well, he does that but in slow motion, like a backwards march. One leg back, and down. Next leg back, and down! :rotfl:
Well, I stay in an apartment, and my little dog doesn't go for walks (she has heart condition, I don't want to strain her) , but she always does her business on a set of newspapers which we laid out near the toilet. She will do all her potty stuff there every time. Then the newspapers will be changed 2 or 3 times a day.
They throw themselves at the backdoor & I toss their fuzzy asses outside until they holler at me to let them in. And then I have to wipe off their feet because our backyard is nothing but dirt. Doesn't help though, the house is still full of dirt.
Hahahahaha carrie, Auggie won't go on wet grass either. He's so delicate. Big 35 pound monster is afraid to get his toes wet, so he goes right in the places we walk on the concrete. Meanwhile Dewey's favorite thing is when the grass gets long. We joke that he likes the way it tickles his butt. :rotfl:
How do your dogs go potty?
So... how do they do it?
