How long did you breastfeed for?

Just curious... there is no right and wrong answer, regardless of what "they" say. I'm thinking I may go just to a year because Baby J never took a bottle and well, quite frankly, I'm getting a bit tired of not having more than 3 + hours to myself ...

I started weaning my twins around 14 months and was actually done breast feeding when they were 16 months old. I let them initiate the weaning process and found it ended very naturally. Good luck!

My previous employer went for 12 months & one of my current employers is planning to go to at least 12. I'm thinking that's what I would do as well.

6 months with my first, 4 months with my second. Working full time after 6 weeks and pumping/breastfeeding is difficult. I am really surprised and proud of myself for hanging in there as long as I did.

A year and then I started to wean...probably 18 months total. I enjoyed it, but I had to pump 3-4 times a day when I got back to work. That sucked, but I thought it was the best thing for my little one! Never had to worry about weaning off bottles then... ♥ SugarKat Honey Bee!

9 months is when we went to with our first. It does get tough - and when I was working it was next to impossible to have even a minute to myself.
