How to make your eyebrows grow!

Big, bold brows at Valentino Big, bold brows at Valentino >If you’ve seen any recent catwalk pics you may have noticed that big brows are back! Bushy, well-defined brows have been sported everywhere from Gucci and Valentino to Christopher Kane. If you like the look but have plucked your brows into submission, you may be interested to hear that some women are turning to eyebrow transplants to restore sparse arches. The procedure involves taking hair from the scalp and ‘sewing’ it onto brows. It takes 3-4 hours and costs around £2,500. Personally I think the procedure sounds extreme and scary, not to mention pricey! However, I do want my brows a little thicker so I’ve been considering buying some Talika Eyebrow Lipocils, a plant based gel said to promote growth. I’ve read rave reviews on this product but Feroza, the fabulous lady who threads my brows (www.ferozasbeauty.co.uk) assures me that olive oil will do the job just as well. The Talika stuff is £20 for 10ml so I figure it won’t do any harm to try the olive oil first. I’m pressing it in twice a day and hopefully within a month I’ll have that famous Brooke look! Will let you know if it works!

What do you think of the strong brow look? And would you ever consider an eyebrow transplant?

my eyebrows are rubbish, unless you have thin ones its hard to understand. it totally stresses me out pencilling them in and it gives me low confidence. so i tend to compensate but slapping on eye makeup- bad idea! maybe I'll oil them up or grow a fringe!

Hello..Interesting topic... Hm,,when I was tinage,,I did take off most of my eybrows and then they didnt grow up any more ,,and then I did use pencil most of the time,,,to make a form// After a a years I got tired of using pencil all a time,,so I decided to tato them.. Frist three years they did look black and then started to get red so I hated them,,and they didn't look good at all neither natural. So for those who want to tato them my suggestion is No cause they don't look good at all. So now this days I understood that olive oil works,or lately I did use Recinus oil,in my country they call it like that Recinus so maybe in US They call castor oil but im not sure. It works but very slow,it depends how often U use it,I use it not very often cause sometimes I hate cause my pillow gets oily. No need to worry Recinus its good for skin too, specially for face..its very healthy.

I used to have Brooke brows but over-plucked too much in the '90's. I'll try the olive oil my bare spots.

i really like the models brows! and has the olive oil had any affect so far? i'd worry that it'd drip and your face would get all oily.. :S
My Opinion My Opinion
No the bushy look is scary! Neat and trimmed up is cool but the barely there line is equally as scary and to the ones that shave it all and then paint them on...eww

I don't really like the bushy brow look - I've got a brow shape that works for me, it's really just my natural brow, cleaned up a bit. I think that's what's really best for everyone, to be honest.

Oh, I don't need any transplant but could definitely donate to brows/locks of love or something ;) Brooke and I could be brow twins!

I have Brooke Shieldish brows, so I don't need that kind of transplant.

No surgery for me anywhere on my face - no way, no how. I don't like bushy brows, but so wish mine were a bit fuller. I'd do the olive oil for sure, but how is that gonna work? I eat a lot of oo does that count? I'm still not done being envious over audreystar's brows - lucky girl!

absurd. i read not to long ago about an eyelask transplant (yikes). they took hair from the head of a woman and individually transplanted about 30 hairs to each lid. she has to have them curled by perm for the rest of her life. so odd. we really just need to accept what we have, there's no limit to what the fashion industry will ask of us.

it most def looks unnatural that eyebrow tattooing.
JennaV JennaV
Lisa, I don't think I would do the tattoo thing either. It almost always looks unnatural.

yeah I don't really like bushy eyebrows.

Those on the model are a little bushy for me. I would love for mine to grow thicker, but to answer your question, no I would not have a transplant. I did see this procedure where they tattoo them in for you. It cost around $400. I would not have that done either. What if they messed up? That would be awful :(

IDK thats a little crazy to me. you could just pencil them in if you wanted to follow that trend...

Well the model's eyebrows are seriously big and bushy... perhaps a growl isn't out of the question! :P

Thanks Missy the product sounds more doable, I agree the procedure sounds scary.
