I Heart Candy: M&M's Kisses Pretzels

I ♥ Candy!!

Here is another candy recipe I've been using for a long time.
Very simple as well and a favorite to many.

What you'll need:

* Mini Pretzels (I used Snyder's of Hanover Unsalted)
* Hershey's Kisses :KISS: (I used milk chocolate)

* M&M's (I used milk chocolate & peanut butter)

SO SIMPLE directions:

* Preheat oven to 170 degrees F

* Depending on however many you want, lay out mini pretzels on baking sheet.
(Use foil for easy cleanup!)

* Place one Hershey's Kisses on each mini pretzel

* Place in oven. Remove after 5-6 minutes.

* Place an M&M over the Hershey's Kisses and gently push down into chocolate.

* Allow to cool down or place in refrigerator. Enjoy!

I had to take the picture before everyone ate them all!!!!

You can use ANY kind of Hershey's Kisses you want (dark chocolate, caramel filled, Hugs...) and you can even use Rolo's instead. The options are endless!

Warning: VERY addicting! :SCALE: ;)

I thought this would be an easy and fun to do treat. It turned out to be awful! I preheated the oven to 200 degrees and placed the pretzels and kisses as instructed. But the kisses did not get soft enough for me to press an M&M into it even after 20 minutes! My stove is not old and works fine. I turned up the heat to 350 and after 5 minutes longer took out the pretzels and pressed the M&M into each but the chocolate kiss was not really soft and easy to push into. It was a bit flaky. I don't know what happened! I am very disappointed.

I've made these for the holidays and they go fast. Sweet & salty, a great combo. They're so easy to make, my son likes to help create these.
