I Would NEVER Get Plastic Surgery but I Might Try....
Being in the fashion industry AND a writer who just had her, well, 30somethingish birthday, I am starting to notice a few "new" features that I didn't have years ago. Not really excited about these latest lines and lumps that have come to light, I decided to make a "non-invasive procedure bucket list". So if I ever get up the courage, these would be the first things to try, here goes:
Procedures that treat problem areas such as sagging skin, wrinkles, blemishes, cellulite, fat deposits, and unwanted hair – without the risks and complications of associated with invasive plastic surgeries.
such as...
Getting rid of unsightly cellulite is easy thanks to the Accent laser, a hand-held device that generates radio waves that penetrate the lower skin layers of the skin. Fat particles are broken up with the resulting heat, and drained away through the body’s lymphatic system. Doesn't sound so bad, right?!?
We’ve all heard of Botox treatments, and heard the jokes on TV about them, but don’t let that scare you off. It’s just a simple little procedure in which Botox is injected into the muscles that cause lines and wrinkles. The result? Smooth, youthful facial skin! I'm gonna need a double. Ugh.
While we’re at it, don’t be scared off by the rather severe-sounding term “chemical peel”. People do it all the time, and it’s no big deal. An acid solution is applied to the skin, and the outer cell layers peel off. The result is exfoliated, healthy-looking skin. I'll need a shot of this too.
There are three available options for a chemical peel: Superficial, medium and deep peel. Ask for a professional opinion about which one is best suited for you.
Finally, you can look into collagen injections, which take on laugh lines, wrinkles, creases, crow’s feet, and acne scars. If you want fuller lips or cheeks, collagen may be the way to go. This will be my procedure of choice and it will be wonderful to actually have lips to put lipstick on again!
