I need a smaller camera...

Can anyone give me any recommendations for a small digital camera? I have one now that I love, but it's HUGE. It's the 8 MP Sony f828, but it's so hard to take it anywhere because of the size. I'm wanting a smaller one for candid snapshots of the kids. It doesn't have to take perfect pictures. I just want something affordable with 5 MP or so. Does anyone have one they love?

This is the one we have now...flash and all (not the same flash but ours is the same size). I love the pictures, but I hate toting it everywhere I go! lol

I have a Casio Exilim that I LOVE. It's small, flat, lightweight, and still has a relatively large screen. I think it's 7.2 megapixels (I don't have it with me so I'm working from memory here) and it takes great pictures and videos. I highly recommend it! It was reasonably priced too. We picked it b/c it got really high reviews, and now we can add our own stamp of approval to it. ;) Here is a link. http://exilim.casio.com/ I think mine is the EX-Z75

I have a Sony CyberShot. It's really cool because it's tiny, but still has a nice big screen. Also, the quality of the pictures is amazing. It was a gift, but I think it cost around $229...only complaint is the software...it sucks for organizing your pics. Good Luck! :-)

I have a big Fuji that I use for professional stuff, but I also have a little Olympus F-170 that is tiny and packed with features. I love it because it's always in my bag ready to take a shot at a moment's notice. And it takes REALLY great photos.

Whip its totally small! It is about the size of a deck of cards legnth and thickness wise. I'll post a picture of it now!

i can't help you because my digicam seems kind of big too. it is a kodak. but you have trumped me on having the biggest digicam. :rotfl: that camera looks like it would take amazing pics though.

I have a Canno Elf that is oh, like 2 years old. I think it is starting to go which totally sucks! I have no idea if there is a warranty or something. I love my camera so I don't want to get a new one.....

Oooo we JUST bought the Sony Cyber-shot yesterday! At first I didn't want it because it looks so bare, and I wanted one that looked more professional like yours. It looks sorta generic, but when the salesman heard me telling my husband that it "looked cheap" He came over and showed us the million features it has. It's the camera that has face recognition. You know the commercial where it says we know your dad's face isn't a horse's butt lol! It's the best smallest camera that Best Buy sells, and it's really not expensive. I highly recommend it! It has different settings for the beach, night, indoor, outside, bla bla. It automatically takes red eye out and everything. It's really nice!

Oooo girl you definitely need a smaller camera!!!!!!! I can ask around, I got mine as a gift so I have no idea how much it cost.. it's a cannon and pretty cool though!!
