The "finally" is what makes it truly lame. It's implying that women's lives center around securing a man or that the man who is special to you required begging, pleading, ultimatums and such to ask you to marry him. People are saying it's tacky; I'm going with demeaning. Just enjoy making the phone calls to tell the good news.
I think this is cute! You should be happy if you are engaged. . .as long as it's not to a psychopath!
I'm sensing a little jealousy from people who aren't engaged though. . .
Tacky would be more like "I'm engaged. . . wanna date?" or something like that.
If I saw A chick wearing that shirt, I would wonder, "what the hell is wrong with her?"
She probably nags, and complains a lot, and she finally found some idiot to deal with her.

congrats! i was really excited when i got engaged too. a friend gave me a t-shirt that had "bride to be" across the front in seed pearls. it became almost like my uniform, lol. but everyone is different. i've seen baseball style hats with the same type of thing on them. all fun to me. :) enjoy your engagement.
Why would anyone wear that? Why not have a tee that Say's "Finally after years of failed relationships I finally found some sucker to put a ring on my finger, I was starting to feel very desperate!" lol
Um, I'm not in love with that at all. It makes it seem like all you've been trying to accomplish in your life is get married, and most modern women have other goals as well.
I think the ring says it all, anyway!
