Lazy Town
So my son was watching Lazy Town the other day. He ususally doesn't watch it, but it came on after his show ended. I sat down and watched it and I just kept thinking "What in the world"?
Firstly (is that a word?) there are puppet kids and also real kids in the show. The little pink haired girl is a real cutie, but looking at those weird puppet kids is really distracting. They kind of freak me out.
Sporticus is tolerable, my son seemed to be intrigued with him doing flips all over the place, but what the heck is with the evil guy? Ack. He looks like some sort of a plastic-coated freaky drag queen.
The show has a great message. It's meant to encourage kids to get out and exercise and put down the Playstation. I get it. But jeez, did they have to make the characters so creepy?
