Make-out proof foundation

Here's an important question for all of you out there:

Help me find a make-out proof foundation? One that won't rub off all over his face, or leave me splotchy after a smooch session? I'm in dire need...as the one I'm using just isn't cutting it. It provides excellent coverage (which I NEED) however, rubs off WAY too easily. Any suggestions?

okay. i tested out my laura mercier soft creme foundation again last night, and it really wasn't so bad. it's seriously the most gorgeous, soft, and natural coverage i've had with any foundaiton and stays on really well when i'm not making out. i've even gone to bed in it before and woken up still looking good...obviously, i try not to make a habit out of that. but anyway, some of it definitely came off during the more intense kissing moments, but it wasn't that bad. i touched up, and we made out again later (this time not so intensely), and it totally stayed on! also, i don't set it with powder like you're supposed to. i'll bet if i did, it would stay on even better. it might be worth a try for you. i definitely prefer how it looks to mac foundation.

Try MAC Studio Fix. It's the best I've tried.

awesome! i have some MAC at home, but i don't really like how it looks or feels on...didn't do the makeout test with it though. maybe i should try it again.

haha YAY Jasi I'm glad I'm not the only one... I've tried numerous from Clinique to Dior to L'Oreal Infallible (which by the way provides AMAZING coverage, but is DEFINITELY NOT make-out proof! lol) my boy recently gave me a gift certificate for MAC so I think I'm going to try what Steen suggested next... I'll let you know how it goes and if anyone else has any suggestions please let Jasi and I know! haha :)

are you my twin?? oh my gosh!!! i have been agonizing over the same thing lately! BE foundation is deeeeeeeeeefinitely not makeout proof. neither is laura mercier silk creme foundation. i'm glad you posted this...hopefully we'll find something. let me know what you've tried so i don't bother. maybe through process of elimination something can be found!

I was going to suggest Bare Escentuals. It doesn't do it for me, but it's sweatproof and, uh, lickproof, I'd think. What are you using now?

I've recently started using MAC's SPF 50 Prep+Prime face primer + their Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation and I looooove it. It doesn't come off --- as far as I've used it --- and it provides great coverage. It does feel a little different than most foundations though so I'd recommend going to a store or counter and trying it out first.

sorry sweets I only wear Bare Escentuals... it took some getting used to but I love it now... very natural and barely there.... but I am not sure it will give you the coverage you are looking for. ♥ Don't sweat the petty things and don't pet the sweaty things.

I've never tried this one but I've heard good things. Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation It supposedly has great coverage and is transfer resistant.
