Modified Christmas Tree

Since we will be away from home this Christmas, I thought it would be too much work to set-up our 7-foot Christmas tree. However, I still wanted to see some of my favorite ornaments and so I decided to cut up some branches from my lilac tree in the backyard, spray paint it in metallic silver and stick it into a clear glass vase with some marbles. Here's what I came up with!
