Movies you hated but everyone else loved?

So, everyone I know LOVED Little Miss Sunshine....except me. I just thought it was okay. This got me thinking, what are some movies that everyone else loved that you hated or just didn't get what all the fuss was about?

Here are a few of mine:
Little Miss Sunshine

There's Something About Mary

Brokeback Mountain

So, what are some of your picks? (Don't feel like you have to defend your choices unless you want to)

I HATED Babel....what dribble...too long. I liked Little Miss Sunshine, thought the only sane ones were the old man and the sucidial gay brother. But it showed that even disfunctional families can come together to help out each other. Hated Lost in Translation, Dumb and Dumber, The remake of the Pink Panther, and Flushed Away I wanted to flush. I really want to see Wild Hogs...any feedback from anyone who saw it?

The worst ever Lord of the Rings, it put me to sleep and I don't even know whyTF I saw all 3!!! :-? _________________________________________________ * my cellphone doesn't take pictures :-P *

For me Lost In Translation, Garden State, The English Patient, Syriana and the worst ever, The Hours. All of these are the most prentious monvies ever made. I would rather poke my eyes out with a dull butter knife than watch these ever again. Crash has its major flaws too but its not nearly as bad for me than the above mentioned films.

Titanic was too long and it was a awful movie.

I ♥ Garden State! I really just hate almost everything with Ben Stiller in it.

I liked Old School enough - it wasn't great but I enjoyed it. But I thought Wedding Crashers was lame.

Oh, I've got one: everyone I know loved Old School but I thought it was so dumb and the jokes were so hackneyed. Same goes for Wedding Crashers.

Brokeback Mountain was awful. What about Mary was gross. I read where somebody hated Meet the Parents. I liked that movie and Meet the Fockers. I love comedies.

I didn't like Crash either... actually, I fell asleep and didn't see the very end

Hated! There's Something About Mary! I wasn't a big fan of Meet the Parents, The Black Dahlia, or Lost in Translation. I did love Little Miss Sunshine though.

Whip - I am with you on Crash. UGH!

I didn't see most of those, but I actually liked Lost in Translation, despite my eternal hatred for ScarJo. I loved Shawshank and The Notebook, too. I had the opposite experience as Lindsb; I saw the movie first and thought the book sucked by comparison. I didn't want to see the movie; thought it would be an utter cheesefest. But, wouldn't you know it? I was crying by the thirty-minute mark. 80s movies don't translate very well for me. I think you actually have to watch them in the 80s for them to be good. The only three that I actually enjoyed were Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Goonies, and Lucas. But, to be fair, I haven't seen The Breakfast Club, yet.

I forgot about Crash. I hated that movie, too.

I loved Little Miss Sunshine AND Brokeback. Something About Mary was funny but unremarkable. Shawshank is one of my favorite movies. I just watched it the other night - SO GOOD! I hated Crash. Hated it so much that I wanted to kick my TV screen in when it won the best picture Oscar last year. I also hate Love, Actually. I wanted to walk out of the theater. What a waste of time and money.

I had issues with The Notebook too, but haven't been brave enough to say anything until now. I actually felt bad for her fiance. That was kind of a skank move, lol. I guess that was her Mother's fault. I loved Shawshank tho. Hated Good Night whatever as well, BORING. I guess its good we're all different tho. ------------------------------------------------------ "We're forced to bed, But we're free to dream" Gord Downie

I never understood what the fuss was about Shakespeare in Love (Saving Private Ryan and Cate Blanchett were robbed!!!)and the Shawshank Redemption--those are the two that I can think of off the top of my head.

Thanks for all the replies! It is fun reading these. :)

Oh, see.. I loved the book and I thought the movie sucked in comparison (Notebook).. but I'm not going to complain because I got to watch Ryan Gosling for a couple hours. Haha. I couldn't stand the Black Dahlia, The Break-Up, or Good Luck and Good Night or whatever the name of that stupid movie was

I HATED The Notebook!!!!!! Such a waste of time, everyone I talk to (even guys) cried during the movie. Horrible book, even worse movie.

There's Something About Mary. It was silly to me. Brokeback Mountain was not that good.
