New-Look Scalloped Potatoes and Ham

Ingredients

Prep Time: 30 min Total Time: 1 hr Makes: 16 servings, about 1 cup each What You Need!4-1/2 lb. red potatoes (about 9), cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices 1 container (16 oz.) BREAKSTONE'S FREE or KNUDSEN FREE Fat Free Sour Cream 3/4 lb. (12 oz.) VELVEETA 2% Milk Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product, cut into 1/2-inch cubes 8 oz. (1/2 of 1-lb. pkg.) OSCAR MAYER Smoked Ham, chopped 4 green onions, sliced 1/4 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese Make It!
HEAT oven to 350°F. Cook potatoes in boiling water in large covered saucepan 10 to 12 min. or just until potatoes are tender; drain. Remove 3/4 of the potatoes; place in large bowl. Add sour cream; mash until smooth. Stir in VELVEETA, ham and onions. Add remaining potato slices; stir gently.

SPOON into 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; sprinkle with Parmesan.

BAKE 30 min. or until heated through.

sounds real great - THANK YOU RUBY :FEEDME: - we have a dish which is called Gratin Dauphinois - that is minus the green onions and the ham - you use creme fraiche and some normal liquid cream - pepper - salt and if you like you can spread a little bit of cheese over it before you bake it - you cook the finely sliced potatoes directly in the cream then when they are half done you place all in a baking dish which you have buttered before and then you have them baked in the oven for abt the same time as Ruby did - you normally serve lamb with it or roast - green beens or spinach or leek :)
