New apartment, new furniture made by my partner!

We moved in three weeks ago, and I'm still organizing and decorating - and waiting for a dining room table, a credenza, and a book case, but I love our new space, and the furniture my boyfriend built for us!  Along with the tables he made came some mid century danish furniture from his parents' house.  I love them!

I've got to swap out the rug, though...I got a FLOR rug (components put together) and it's a magnet for our black lab's fur...it's like velcro. I also need something a little bolder -- I thought about the Ikea Stockholm rug, but I didn't love it in the store...

Great! Thanks for the info. I love the way white blankets, er, sheepskins haha look thrown over objects. I have been looking for one. Do you happen to remember the website you purchased yours from?

That fern moved in sub freezing temps, I wrapped all my plants in garbage bags and heated up the car! The "white blanket" is a sheepskin -- it's resilient, cozy, stays clean and can be hand washed if necessary. I bought it online -- it's a double skin, (long) and would normally cost $140 or more, I got mine for about $79. Nicer quality than Ikea's sheepskins.

I love it too! What great pieces! BTW, that has to be healthiest indoor fern I have ever seen! So green!
