North Germany

My fiance and I did a mini road trip through Northern Germany. We went through Bremerhaven, Oldenburg, and Bremen Germany. Nice quaint towns. We were in Amsterdam, Netherlands for the New Years holiday and we decided to explore some of Germany. It was cold and snowy but it was such a beautiful country. These were taken from Jan 8th-9th 2009. Enjoy! Wave

Thanks for the pics - I've been feeling pretty homesick lately and they really helped. I miss it and wish hubby and I could take a trip. Maybe one of these years.

Amsterdam on New Years. Did you do anything that would be illegal in the U.S? It looks so cold in Germany. But the pictures are great. Thanks for sharing. Was Hooters in Germany different than in the U.S?

My wife and I got stuck for hours on the autobahn, coming back from Amsterdam. Traffic backed up for miles because of a little snow. WE nearly missed our granddaughter's christening. :fogey:
