Obama-camp Creative Spin on the Media

The following is another email I received from the Obama-camp movement against the TRUTH....take a peek and see what you think of how they are now spinning the media.  The only thing I altered from this email was links to support their causes...because that is simply stupid.

Sick of the media getting it wrong?

Thursday, November 5, 2009 6:59 PM

From:

Dear MoveOn member,
For years, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce has lied about how many members they have. They say they represent three million members, when the real number is somewhere between 200,000 and 300,000.
It's bad enough that the Chamber lies. What's worse is that far too many media outlets fail to call the Chamber out.
Recently, the Associated Presshas repeated the Chamber's inflated membership claims, even as the U.S. Chamber's partisan war on President Obama has escalated with TV ads and heavy coverage on Fox News.

You can help convince the Associated Press to stop repeating the Chamber's lies. Reporters pay attention when their readers and viewers point out factual errors.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is one of the most powerful right-wing lobbyist groups in Washington, and they've gone to war against everything MoveOn members care about. Clean energy, health care, workers' rights, financial reform, legislation to help homeowners facing foreclosure—the Chamber is fighting all of it.

A lot of the Chamber's power comes from the false perception that they represent millions of small businesses across the country. One reporter recently challenged the Chamber on their inflated membership claims, and they admitted that the three million number is not accurate.

In fact, they represent no more than about one percent of businesses nationwide. But the Chamber website still says there are three million members, and major news outlets keep repeating it.
We need major outlets like the Associated Press to get the facts straight.
Thanks for all you do.

Cheeky interpretation.........Real truth is obviously getting harder and harder for Obama's minions to control.

I thought that their "sources" were very interesting.

Gee one article by FOX and an official document from the U S Chamber of Commerce....are now BOTH wrong?

BUT three articles this "Obama movement" created themselves of course is the only REAL source of truth?  OMG how demented are these people?  Create your own news and views ... and when necessary use other sources claiming they are in fact not real sources.
Astonishing.

It is also interesting that since the U S Chamber of Commerce is not a strong staunch supporter that they then become a target.

VERY INTERESTING....if you don't support Obama then YOUR numbers are wrong....Oh...and you aren't a valid source of information unless you can be used to support THEIR goal.

This just makes me think they will go to any length to undermine the truth.   What do you think?

I was at a gas station, standing there pumping the gas and watching the little news feed thingie at the pump which is essentially a advertisement gimmick...and there she was... Pelosi taking a "firm stance on the heath and welfare of all Americans" and without thinking about where I was I said this out loud "This woman is an idiot! Who is she to decide what is best for my health or any-one's for that matter? She can't even keep her stories straight. She is a liar." A man on the other side of the pump leaned over to see who was silly enough to be talking to them self (me) then smiled and said, "Lady you are probably better prepared to do that woman's job. You can't do any worse than what she is doing." I laughed. After pondering the words that Pelosi was saying that upset me so I wondered how many other people stand there and think the same thing but don't actually voice their opinion--and as Americans we have to start raising our voices loudly. The current administration is going deaf.

:rotfl: Yes pity us "fools" for disagreeing. Everything is getting so insane these days. Boxer and Pelosi are breaking rules and lying about things to get their pet projects passed. And the dems are so blind they think both ladies are right to be doing what they are doing. Ugh!

Oh yeah...and the pic was my addition. I simply could not resist. "I pity the fool" who will disagree with the president.

Every email I have gotten from these people is so far from the truth that I believe they are unable to view real truth any longer. Now this is evidence of how far they will go to twist the truth.
