Olivia Palermo Poses in Paris, Talks High/Low Fashion
“The trick is taking a runway trend and incorporating it into your wardrobe in a way that doesn’t break the bank,” she tells LifestyleMirror.com. “Blend them with your own personal style.”
The socialiate — photographed at Paris’s Le Meurice Hotel while in town for Fashion Week — says accessories are often an easy way to dress up a look. “It’s not about how much a piece of jewelry costs — if it’s $2, well then that’s even more exciting,” she shares.
Palermo, who made the rounds at London and New York Fashion Weeks, too, also enjoys incorporating foreign names into her wardrobe. “I love supporting younger, London-based designers like Matthew Williamson and Markus Lupfer,” she says. “I’ll wear them, as well as some bigger names from time to time, but it’s that [high/low] mix that is important.”
