Orange & Lemon Thyme Bread

Did you know in the Tudor times high ranking people at court would only eat fancy white bread and that the average person would eat crunchy brown bread? Back then breads were even made from lentils and beans. The upper crust of a loaf would be reserved for poshier people whereas the bottom crust would be then given to the poor. Isn't it weird how we now seemed to have had a role reversal where brown bread has a "higher" status value than white bread?
Anyway, I had run out of bread and as the oranges in my fruit bowl were mocking me, I decided to use their zest to make some orange and lemon thyme bread. This recipe is almost exactly the same as my Lemon Thyme & Garlic Bread but with a few tweaks. If life gives you oranges, you make...
