Hello Everyone!
I'm having a hard time while choosing which hairstyle would suit me best as I'm be heading for a cut in a few days.
Two weeks ago I cut off all my hair. CHOP!!! I LOVE it, seriously. Problem is, I've had long hair for so long I don't know how to style it.
I have pale skin and finally started wearing shorts, but my legs are covered in little red heat bumps.
Hi everybody :) This is my first time posting here, but from what I've read and seen, I think I can get some good advice from you all! I made the mistake of trying to find a new hairstylist in my area. Truth be told, I've done it a couple of times, both times with disastrous results. I have fine hair, but I have a ton of it, and it is sometimes mistaken for being thick, thus leading my first stylist to texturize the heck out of it. I had to let it grow out for over a year until it was back to where I wanted it. I was getting into the groove of growing out my hair, when I decided to go and have a professional trim my (home-cut) bangs and maybe add a couple of layers. I ended up with a choppy, feathered mullet that needed to be cropped ASAP. So, now my hair still bears some of the feathering (the hairs are probably 2-3" long on top, at the shortest), but is cropped to about my chin. I would LOVE some advice on home hair extensions... has anybody ever tried them? Are they any good? My local ULTA store has the Jessica Simpson/Ken Paves ones, but I'm nervous about spending upwards of $150 (I know, salon ones are MUCH more expensive, but I'm newly married and thrifty!) on something that will look like a touseled rats' nest. Any suggestions/tips for home extensions or temporary "I hate my hair" remedies??
My hair grows in almost black it's so dark a brown. I've got a lot of red in my hair and usually my hair lightens to a deep auburn color. Recently, though, the gold in my hair has been coming out more and that washes my pale skin out something horrible.
