Party Dilemma! How to Keep Food Warm w/o Special Warming Equipment?
Every year my parents throw a Christmas party for about 50 employees at their house. Instead of catering, (being the food-freak I am) I am taking on the challenge of creating the bite-size apps, dips, and some savory dishes for the crowd. I am planning on two dishes that need to stay warm while serving, mini cheeseburgers and fried chicken nuggets. One problem: I don't have access to special warming equipment that catering companies use at these type of parties to keep food warm.
Any suggestions?
