Product Review: Lush Bath Bombs
I've been obsessed with Lush even before they opened stores in the US. I used to buy their products whenever I traveled to Europe, or I'd order them mail-order from Canada. Now the stores are popping up all over the States and they opened one in Philly but I haven't even gone yet.
But I stopped into the Lush in Carmel (salespeople were WAAAAY too pushy there, btw) and picked up a few bath bombs. These are awesome. Just throw them in the tub as you're filling it up. They dissolve and fizz in the water and turn the water colors, smell yummy, and leave your skin all soft and fragrant.
These are the two I picked up:
Honey Bee - honey scented
Champagne Supernova - champagne cocktail scented
I'm a big fan of the smell of honey, so I loved Honey Bee. It turned the water bright yellow, which seemed kind of weird. I mean, who wants to lie around in yellow water? But it smelled good and was nice and relaxing. The only thing was, it left a yucky sediment of brown stuff in the bottom of the tub. Yuck. Good thing I used it in my hotel room and not in my home!
I liked Champagne Supernova even better. And listen to what I did, it's genius! 8) This one has confetti in it so I cut the foot off an old pair of pantyhose and put the bomb inside it and tied it shut. So none of the crap got into my tub or clogged the drain and the tub was clean as a whistle afterwards. This one turned the bathwater bubblegum pink and frothy, and my skin was SO SOFT afterwards.
So, I liked the smell of Honey Bee better, but I liked the feel of Champagne Supernova. Both are affordable (under $6).

Oh. Also check out the Buffy skin conditioner. I've been obsessed with this thing for six or seven years now!
