REVIEW: Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight and Pantene Texturize
First Im going to start with Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight Shampoo and Conditioner
I was looking for a new shampoo and conditioner because I was kind of tired of my John Frieda Brilliant Brunette. I have been having a problem of keeping my hair straight since I have to ride my bike to school now so I thought I would give Herbal Essences a shot

First off I love the smell but then again what is Herbal Essences without the great smell. Also both the shampoo and conditioner are pink in color just like the bottle. Now on to the good stuff does it straighten....yes and no. I let my hair air dry and I did notice a touch of difference. It is not as crazy and frizzy. The stuff does make straightening my hair with a flat iron A LOT easier and it leaves my hair super soft. However during the day my hair still gets poofy and doesn't stay perfectly straight. Overall I think it is a great product
I give it 4 out of 5 stars

Now on to the new Pantene Texturize line. I have tried 3 of the products from this line in hope of giving my layers some definition and hold
I'll start with the worst
3. The Spray Wax

The directions say to shake well (I keep forgetting to do this), spray on to wet hair and scrunch for beach waves. I havent done this yet. Or you can spray onto dry hair and tousle your layers for definition- this I have done. This stuff leaves my hair hard and sticky. It doesn't define my layers that well and leaves my hair untouchable
And it hurts to run a brush through my hair afterwards. Im still experimenting with this one so maybe my opinion will change but for now Im giving this
2 out of 5 stars

2. The next product I tried was the Texturize Ultra Hold Hairspray

Man does this HOLD!!! It is an aerosol spray. It really does hold. The only downside is it leaves my hair a little tacky feeling. However it is easier to run a brush or my fingers through than the spray wax. Im giving three out of 5 stars because it does have great hold but not the best texture

Now the winner of the line is.........
1. The Moussing Foam Wax!!!

I LOVE this stuff. You use it like any normal mousse. You can put it in wet hair and blow dry or you can apply it to dry hair (which is what I do). You apply the amount you want and rub it in your hands until it is a thin layer then apply. I like to rake it through my hair for definition with a little movement. I also I like to combine it with what little amount of John Frieda Ocean Waves Spray (damn you John for discontinuing this stuff it was heaven) and scrunch it into my hair for a little wave. It has great hold and doesn't feel as tacky as the other products. Also I dont know about the shiny finish they are claiming it will give you cause I never get it. This stuff is great Im giving it 4 out of 5 stars

WARNING with any of the Pantene products you HAVE to wash your hands afterwards because they all contain wax and leave your hands with a coating
