REVIEW: Lundberg Family Farms Risotto

I bought this stuff on a whim because it was on sale. I'm so glad I did it is DELICIOUS!!!!!!!

Here is the company's statement
"Lundberg Family Farms® is a family-owned and operated business that is committed to producing the finest quality rice and rice products for your family. Since 1937, our family has been growing rice using ecological farming methods that care for the soil, wildlife, air and water.

Lundberg Family Farms is involved in all aspects of bringing you rice products, from the field to the table. Through this approach, we bring you products with Purity You Can Taste™."

I tried the Italian herb and it really tastes like you made this all your self when really all it takes is the rice, packet of flavoring and water. It takes 20 mins to cook giving me plenty of time to make the rest of the meal. Plus a 1/2 cup serving is only 1 g of fat.

If you see it definitely pick it up!

I found this in the big organic section at my grocery store, but they didn't have the herb one. They had butternut squash, mushroom, parmesan, and a couple others, but I wasn't feelin' 'em. I'll try EarthFare or something next week.

Hey, thanks for that, my daughter loves rice and I am always afraid to try new ones that would turn her off of it.

Great review. I ve tried it before and didnt like it as much as the brand from my grocery store though. It wasnt bad at all, but not my favorite. Maybe it was the flavor I picked up (herbs). I loved that its organic though. I would buy it again, no problem.

I'll have to try this. I don't have the patience to make my own risotto, and many boxed ones are crap. It also says "gluten free", which is good for some reason that escapes me  Thanks!
