Raspberry cupcakes with blood orange buttercream
Looking for something other than the usual red velvet cupcake to make this Valentine's Day? These cupcakes don't need any food coloring at all -- they get a lovely color from the raspberry puree in the batter, and the frosting is colored by the blood orange juice. Of course, if you want to turn up the volume, they'd look awesome in crimson or fuscia.
